I go to college.

Do you remember how I use to hate college? Well, if you don't or you had no idea, let me fill you in... I kind of hated college. If it weren't for church and institute, I probably would've died. Yeah, pretty serious. Well, anyways I use to hate college until I started hanging out with Jessica and Blake.
Yeah, they're pretty much awesome!
Jessica and Blake were in my history class (one of the classes that I was really struggling with, which by the way, I got a B in. Hallelujah!) and they were also in my ward. Yes! Well, anyways, we would hang out in history class, but we never really did anything outside of class until the last week of school. By that time we started hanging out everyday and we ended up doing some crazy, but awesome things!

First

I learned how to longboard. No joke! It was really fun, but I do need to work on turning, it's kind of tricky. Also, my mom said that we would look for a longboard that I could buy! Ha! I don't know if I'll actually get one, but it would be pretty awesome!

Also

I went cliff jumping! (The picture is of Jessica and myself) Probably one of the scariest things I have ever done in my life, but it was so awesome! I'm not sure if I'd go again, but maybe...

We also had a war...

With nerf guns and a few other friends. It was intense and the best part was that it didn't hurt... well, except for the battle wound that I got. No joke, but I still don't know how I got that.

On the same day as the war we went to
and we played Sardines. I highly suggest doing this. It was REALLY fun!

Sadly, after that day, Jessica had to leave to go back home to Sholow. Luckily for me though, Blake decided to stay in his apartment for another week before he headed up to St. Johns, so today wewent to Tempe Marketplace and...

Gave out free hugs/compliments! It was hilarious to see the varied reactions that people had when we asked if they wanted a free hug. I would suggest this too except a security guard told us that we had to leave. Why? I'm not really sure, but it was fun while it lasted!

I am so grateful for my friends and the memories that we made this year and I can't wait to see how sophomore year plays out!

Oh it's just a coincidence... not.

Do you believe in coincidences? I don't. I believe in tender mercies from the Lord. A tender mercy isn't usually something big, but, to me at least, it is a way that God shows that he is aware of you and he cares about you. Well I had an amazing tender mercy the other day that truly touched me.
I have been really worried about my grades. Well, kind of. I had two classes that I was really worried about and I thought that in order to keep my scholarship to ASU, I had to maintain a 3.5 GPA. So, I was really concerned about these two classes because I was pretty sure that I would be getting low B's in these two classes and when I tried to figure what my GPA would be, I always just barely fell short of the 3.5 mark.
Well, after a night of intense study for one of the classes that I was worried about, I prayed that I would be able to retain the knowledge that I would need to know for my final. I was begging the Lord to help me do well. Right in the middle of my prayer, I had a thought come into my head to check the requirements for keeping my scholarship. Low and behold, you had to have at least a 3.25 GPA!
I can't even explain how much of a burden this lifted from my shoulders. I wanted to laugh, sing, cry and dance all at the same time. I didn't have to know that I only had to have a 3.25 GPA, but the Lord knew that it would help me concentrate and it would relieve my stress. It was so wonderful that after my final for the difficult class, I nearly burst into song and dance. In fact, the whole day I felt the urge to do heel clicks where ever I went.
I LOVE MY LIFE!!!
